Our youth deserve to have safe environments in which they can flourish and interact with other like-minded youth. Since we are a product of our environments, it is important to surround youth with positive role models, intriguing activities, exciting events, useful information, meaningful interactions, and sound guidance. Our human resources will be invaluable to these efforts.
The people who serve as advisors are the local points of contact for the youth and their parents. These frontline influencers are distinguished members of your community selected in accordance with criteria acceptable to the institution or nonprofit organization with which the chapter is affiliated and approved by the National Pharaohs Society.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVISORS AND VOLUNTEERS
Advisors will likely be educators, coaches, veterans, businesspersons, law enforcement, and professionals interested in creating a nurturing environment for local youth and focused on the development of their potential. They will be screened and selected for their ability to positively influence our members and have a long-lasting impact on their lives. They are vested in working with our members to better enable them to become successful in their schools and beyond.
